Thankful

Today I am so thankful for loving people, friends, mentors, and teachers. I can see now that i have been a bit sidetracked lately...where its been all about me. I started off with good intentions but as they say, Good intentions can never set a man (er woman) free... Its funny how the second it becomes about you there is no longer peace...Its also funny how long it took me to figure this out.

I was so close.

So close. But so far away.
Next year will be different. Perhaps More sacrifice is needed?

Everything is for Him

Wow, so I never thought I'd become one of those ppl that blog.. not that there is anything wrong with it of course. I'm not sure what compelled me to set up one, perhaps boredom? yea..thats probubly it. (does anyone even read these?!)

So after listening to a sermon by Paul Washer, I thought I'd share a "poem"..

Its called: FOR HIM

My strength is for Him
My heart beats for Him
We were given breathe for Him
We were given everything we were given for Him.
It is only for Him will we find purpose and meaning.
We will not find purpose and meaning in Him if our goal is to find purpose and meaning
Rather, our goal should be His Glory.
Even if to attain that glory for Him, every bit of purpose is destroyed in your life,
Because, Its ALL about HIM.
Don't make it about you.
